Peyton is 6 months old

Peyton turned 6 months old today. It is such a short amount of time, but she has come such a long way.

Here she is the day after she was born. She has obviously grown a lot since that day.

She has learned to sit up, reach and grab things, smile, and laugh. She grew two teeth, she absolutely loves her big brother, and she loves to play super baby with her Daddy. She has become her own little person already. I am looking forward to watching her learn and grow as the next 6 months fly by.

AS of today we learned she likes sweet potatoes as well.

Peyton has teeth

Peyton is almost 6 months old and the past couple of weeks she has been growing 2 teeth. She got the first at 51/2 weeks old and the other yesterday. She is getting so big already. I tried to get a couple of pictures of her teeth. If you look real close you can see them.

She can also sit up all by herself and manage to move herself around the room as well. She is pretty much following in Aidan's footsteps which scares me because he was walking by 10 months.

Our trip to NY

Jon, the kids, and I drove to NY to spend time with our families. Our first stop was Jon's father's house in Rhinebeck NY.

The first night we were there we went to the fair. There was a ton of things to do and see. The first we enjoyed was the great fair food.

Here Aidan is eating a huge corndog.

You can't go to the fair without looking at all the animals. I think this was Aidan's favorite thing we did. We spent the most time looking at the cows, pigs, goats, and in this picture the horses.

Aidan and Jon had fun playing games,
and riding rides.
We all had a great time.
There was plenty of other things to keep us busy on our visit.

Aidan got to stuff, bathe, and brush a dog,
and play at the playground.
One of the most exciting moments for Aidan was when the big oil truck came to Grandpa's house to fill up his oil. The driver even let him sit in the truck and blow the horn.
Peyton was having a great time too. She even learned to sit up while we were there.
We got to spend a lot of time outside which was great since we have been cooped up for most of the summer in NC.

Aidan painted outside,
we took walks,

and took in the beautiful scenery.
Aidan enjoyed a lot of treats he would not normally have. His favorite was his elephant cookie.
we miss you Grandpa and Irene.
After Rhinebeck Jon made his way home while the kids and I went on to Buffalo to visit with my family.

From the time we arrived until the time we left Nick was a big help with the kids.
Especially with Aidan. You could not tear the two apart.
They had fun dancing,
playing men,
and bowling together.

There were a ton of other kids for Aidan to play with. Here he is swimming with cousins.
There was also new toys for him to try out. Although it was a little scary for me, he loved riding this 4 wheeler. He rode it almost every day.

Aidan and Peyton were able to finally meet some new friends.

Here Peyton is meeting one of my best friends daughters Emma.
As you can see Aidan was just one of the guys.
Aidan meeting Addy for the first time.
My cousin had a baby a couple of days before we arrived. Peyton looks huge next to Aria.
Aidan and Grandpa got to see each other again, while Peyton got to meet him for the first time.
We all had a great time and we miss everyone already.
