Happy Birthday Peyton!

Peyton,

Two years ago today you were born, and you have brought so much joy and laughter into our lives. I can't believe you have grown from this cute little baby,

into this beautiful little girl in such a short time.

You are such a determined little girl. You know what you want, and what you want to do, and you find a way to do it. At 22 months you decided you needed to potty learn, and you did it in record time.
I think your favorite person in the whole world is your big brother, Aidan. You want to do and have everything that he does. In fact, you told me today " I don't want to be 2, I want to be 4!" Of course, because Aidan will soon be 4. You two play very well together most of the time. I love to just sit and watch and listen to you guys play.
Aidan adores you as well. He loves to hug, and tickle, and love on you. He always protects you, no matter who is the one who is doing something you don't like.
Some of your favorite things to do these days are to "help" and watch us cook.
You love, love your babies. Lately Aidan plays the Daddy and you play the Mommy. You find a spot for your house, and then you wrap up, and rock, and love your babies.

You love books, and I love listening to you read them to yourself. Your little voice and version of the story is just so adorable.
Your new favorite food is an egg sandwich. English muffin with an egg, cheese, butter, and ketchup. You ask for one for almost every meal, and sometimes snacks.
Since Christmas, when you got your markers, coloring is another one of your favorite things to do. You not only like to color on paper, you love to color on yourself as well. Hey, at least you have a creative side!
Another Christmas gift was this tea set. You are finally getting old enough to play with it. You love it when I fill it with water and we have a tea party together. It's just so cute the way you fill up all the tea cups, then put cream and sugar in, and then drink them all.
You are very independent. You like to do anything and everything by yourself. You pick out your own clothes, get yourself dressed, brush your teeth, go potty, make your food, eat, and on, and on, and on all by yourself. You bring happiness and laughter to anyone who is around you. You are a beautiful little girl, and I am so proud to be your Mama.

I love you baby girl.
Happy Birthday!

Love,
Mama
